We have started this foundation in 2003. He is from a middle-class family and used to have nutritious food provided by the Government School. He met Vadapalani Siddhar when he was 12 years old in the temple, which is next to his house. He used to meet him daily, and over time, the time spent with Vadapalani Siddhar increased.

He started learning meditation and helping prepare herbal medicines. Later, he learned Navapasana idols preparation from Vadapalani Siddhar. Guru Sri Navapasana Ramesh Kumar Siddhar’s presence had a lasting impact on the local community and the temple. The Napasana Murugan Temple grew into a major spiritual centre, attracting numerous devotees from across Tamil Nadu and beyond.

Life and Spiritual Journey of Vadapalani Siddhar

Vadapalani Siddhar, whose name is Gopalakrishnan, is from Karnataka and hails from the Udupi family. He belongs to a large family and is settled in Vadapalani with his wife, son, and two daughters. His children were unwell, and he sought treatment for them in various hospitals. Later, he met Arindharku Eniyanar Siddhar in Pondicherry and obtained medicines that helped his children recover. After this experience, Vadapalani Siddhar started learning Siddha medicine and began providing free medicines to people. Additionally, he learned meditation and the art of making Navapasana idols from Arindharku Eniyanar Siddhar. Like other Siddhars, Vadapalani Siddhar is believed to have led a simple, ascetic life focused on meditation and spiritual pursuits. He is considered an enlightened being who guided many followers on the path of spirituality and was known for his deep knowledge of Siddha arts, which included spiritual practices, herbal medicine, alchemy, and mystical rituals.
